The Modern Zoo is taking submissions for "Modern Zoo II" on display in Portland Oregon from July 31 to October 2, 2004. Similar to last year's Modern Zoo exhibit, the 2004 show will be a large-scale survey of contemporary regional art by emerging and independent artists. "Modern Zoo II" will present a wide range of multidisciplinary work interacting within a vast unifying exhibition space.

The Modern Zoo has postponed its 2004 juried showcase, previously slated to open next summer, until it finds a permanent space to house its art center.
